Arthur David Manclow - bio for Class of 1965 40th Reunion


I met my wife Susanne Manclow in 1982 while attending church
services and we married in 1983. We live in Fort Plain and are
the parents of four children, with two grandchildren.

In:

1997 - I retired from a career in data processing with the
          New York State government

1997 - I was requested to serve on the Fort Plain Cemetery
          Association board of trustees

1997 - I received an appointment to the position of Minden
          Town Historian

1998 - I joined the Association of Public Historians of
          New York State (APHNYS)

1998 - I was elected trustee to Fort Plain Village Board;
         re-elected in 2000, 2002, and 2004

1999 - I was requested to serve on the New York State regional
          Archives Committee (RAC), managing the Local Government Records
          Management Information Fund (LGRMIF), a New York State grant
          program

2000 - I was elected to the Board of Trustees of the Association
          of Public Historians of New York State (APHNYS) and continue to
          serve in that position

2005 - I was elected President of the Fort Plain Cemetery
          Association
